MaGI-STR Core is a multiplex PCR kit designed for human DNA identification using 19 STR markers and the amelogenin locus.
The Panel Includes:
  • 13 CODIS core loci (D3S1358, D5S818, D7S820, D8S1179, D13S317, D16S539, D18S51, D21S11, CSF1PO, FGA, TH01, TPOX, VWA)
  • 5 ENFSI-recommended loci for European forensic databases (D1S1656, D2S441, D10S1248, D12S391, D22S1045)
  • SE33, one of the most polymorphic STR markers
Kit Components:
  • Lyophilized reaction strips (192 reactions)
  • Activator solution
  • Deionized water
  • Control DNA
  • Size standard
  • Allelic ladder covering common alleles across all loci

Applications:

  • Forensic human identification

  • Paternity and kinship testing

  • National DNA database construction (CODIS/ESS compliant)

  • Bone marrow transplant monitoring (chimerism analysis)

Key Features:

  • High sensitivity: full profiles obtained from as little as 0.2 ng of DNA

  • Robust performance: stable amplification with DNA inputs up to 20 µl, resistant to inhibitors

  • Multiplex design: 19 STR loci + amelogenin in one reaction

  • Long-term stability: lyophilized reaction mixes stored at room temperature for 18+ months without loss of performance

Advantages for Laboratories:

  • Single-tube multiplex saves time and reagents

  • High discrimination power (random match probability < 1 in 10²¹)

  • Easy integration into existing forensic workflows

  • Stable, convenient, and validated solution for STR typing

Maestro Genetics MaGI-STR Norm
A reagent kit for multiplex analysis of 26 human DNA markers
The kit is designed for personal identification and determination of biological relationship, authentication of cell lines, and analysis of biological chimerism after transplantation of human organs and tissues.
Maestro Genetics MaGI-STR Norm kit is a next-generation multiplex test system based on a unique DNA amplification standardization technology. Our extremely wide analytical range allows for testing without the need for preliminary DNA concentration measurement and standardization. Standardization amplification technology ensures an optimal fluorescent signal level regardless of the sample volume added to the reaction. Immediately after the DNA extraction step, the maximum amount of sample can be added to the amplification reaction, ensuring high sensitivity without the risk of signal overload.

Kit Components:
Analyzed markers

Applications:

Key Features:

  • Unique technology for fluorescent signal normalization
  • Simultaneous analysis of 26 individualizing human DNA markers
  • Optimal signal level of PCR products without prior normalizing the DNA concentration
  • High resistance to PCR inhibitors
  • Possible to conduct the assay directly without the DNA extraction step
  • Rapid 1-hour amplification program
  • SRY marker analysis for reliable gender determination
